Assembling a Bobbin junior bike is really easy and fun.

The bike arrives in a box. The handlebars, front wheel, front mudguard, pedals and saddle must be attached.
The basket is attached simply by the straps. Only the Gingersnap 24" comes with a basket support.
The box contains basic tools. You will also need scissors, pliers, a screwdriver and a pump.
Some things to note:

The basket is not machine made, it is hand woven from natural materials. Inconsistencies in weave, finish and colour are to be expected and are part of its charm.

Delivery Changes:

Return Policy
Return Period:
Customers have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
Return Criteria:
To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition and packaging, with all tags and labels still attached.
Return Process:
To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team and provide your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide further instructions on how to proceed with the return.
Refunds:
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned item, and will be credited to the original payment method.
Return Shipping:
The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item, unless it was damaged or defective.

How do I know which size bike is right for my child?

Always measure your child's inside leg and check our sizing guide before choosing the size. The age guides we give are only for general guidance, the height and inside leg are more important. If you're unsure about the sizing, contact us, and we can advise. It's important to buy a bike that your child can fit on. Our Junior bikes have plenty of room for growth, as saddles and handlebars can be adjusted easily.

What if my child is between sizes?

It is unlikely that your child will be completely between wheel sizes, as there is some overlap between the sizes. For example, the Gingersnap 12"" is for 33-43cm inside legs, and the Gingersnap 16"" is for 40-54cm inside legs. Our Junior bikes have plenty of room for adjustment, with saddles and handlebars that can be adjusted easily. If in doubt, you can contact us for advice.

Do your childrens bikes come with stabilisers/training wheels?

The 12"" and 16"" Moonbug and Gingersnap models include colour-matched stabilisers (training wheels). We do not provide training wheels for 20 and 24"" wheel bikes, but it is possible to buy these separately from other retailers.

How is this bike delivered?

Your bike will be delivered to you partially assembled in a box. Assembly is really easy, and you can follow our instructions here. Assembly is normally done within 30 minutes, and basic tools are included with your bike. You will need scissors and a bike pump.

Which size Bobbin bike size will fit me?

Bobbin bikes will fit most sizes, whether tall of petite. Don’t know your bike size? It’s really easy to find the correct fit by measuring your inside leg, from the sole of your foot to the inside of your thigh. Then check your height. To find your size, see our sizing chart here. Some of our adult bikes come in two sizes, others are one-size-fits all.
